The Global Ambassador Challenge video competition has ended. Results have been announced via email by the University of Tokyo to selected applicants.The University received more than 500 applicants. Thank you very much for your participation.

What is it?

An opportunity for undergraduate students studying in English in regions where English is not the primary language to visit the University of Tokyo and participate in an interactive workshop with other such students and attend a symposium on international education with presentations and panel discussions from world renowned scholars.

 

What's the prize?

The winning applicants will be provided with return airfare to Tokyo, 3 nights hotel accommodation and participation in the workshop and symposium events. They will be awarded the title of “University of Tokyo Global Student Ambassador.”

How do I apply?

Applying is easy. Simply follow the following 4 steps:


  1. Read and agree to the rules of the competition(142KB).
  2. Create your 2-minute video telling us about the highlights and challenges of your international educational experiences so far.

  3. Upload your video to an online video sharing service (YouTube is recommended but other local alternatives are acceptable).

  4. Complete the online application form and submit it.

Application period: October 5 – November 9, 2015 (23:59 Japan Time)

Note:
Regarding entry qualifications,
* Graduate students are not eligible to apply for this challenge.
* The applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate program conducted in English, in a region where English is not the primary language. We set the minimum study period of English program as one semester.
