1 What made you decide to study overseas?
I had been interested in living abroad, and I also thought studying abroad is the easiest way to enhance my language skills. I chose Hong Kong because I wanted to improve both my English and Chinese.

2 Please tell us about the best experience you had studying abroad.
I joined a boat club and I was chosen as a regular member in the final competition.

3 Please tell us about the hardest part of your overseas study.
Hong Kong was unusually cold when I stayed there (the lowest temperature was about 3 degrees), but there was no heater in my dormitory or classrooms.

4 What types of classes did you take?
China's and Hong Kong's culture and politics courses, Chinese language courses

5 What were you involved in outside of class? (Clubs, volunteering, internships etc.)
Boat club

6 How do you want to make use of your experience overseas?
I would like to work in English or Chinese speaking countries in the future.

7 If you have any advice for students planning to study abroad, please tell us.
I don't know people who regret having studied abroad and I believe everyone learns something from it.

8 If you have anything else you want to say, including any experience that left an impression on you, please do so here.
In Hong Kong University, international students can live, join clubs and take all the courses with local students unlike Todai, and there are a lot of events to interact with them. Besides, Hong Kong University is very international and you can meet friends from all over the world.
