Recruiting Student Guides for a Campus Tour to Show New International Students Around Komaba Campus I
As part of the orientation for new international students in April, there will be a campus tour conducted by current UTokyo students. To introduce the main facilities in Komaba I Campus in English to the new international students. In particular, give a detailed explain on how to use the library. (There is a manuscript available in English on how to conduct the tour of the library). Date & Time: Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 13: 30 - 15: 00
*In addition, there will be a meeting with the staff in the library to go over the manuscript, regarding where and how to show the students around, and the route to take on this day. The meeting is expected to last about an hour. We will arrange this meeting according to the selected students’ schedule. Requirements:
-Currently attending classes as a student of University of Tokyo
-In addition to being able to speak Japanese, having conversational English skills to explain the facilities of Komaba Campus and to be able answer any questions the new international students may have.
*International students will need a work permit to participate as a student guide. Payment:
Hourly wage: 1,000 yen (tax included)
* It is estimated that the total amount of time will be approximately three hours altogether including the day of the tour and the meeting with the library staff. Inquiries:
