New PEAK and GPEAK students begin their journey on Komaba Campus

New 32 PEAK and 17 GPEAK students have arrived at Komaba and commenced their campus life as University of Tokyo students. Those students have been admitted through highly selective admission process.
On the afternoon of September 21, 2018, PEAK/GPEAK Welcome Ceremony was held by the College of Arts and Sciences at Komaba Campus, following the University’s Matriculation Ceremony at Hongo Campus on the morning. There had been as many as 130 participants gathered to celebrate the threshold of PEAK and GPEAK students’ life at the university.

PEAK is a 4-year undergraduate degree program and offers two tracks; “Japan in East Asia” and “Environmental Sciences.” GPEAK is a graduate program in either “Global Society (GSP)” or “Environmental Sciences (GPES).”
