About GO Events
The Globalization Office (GO) offers a number of events such as seminars, field trips and lectures on and off campus. These events provide opportunities to meet new people from different parts of the world. Most events are conducted in English, and all students from the University of Tokyo are welcome.We look forward to seeing you at our events! GO Lunchtime Lecture Series
GO Lunchtime Lectures are introductory level lectures about specific countries and global issues. Lectures usually feature representatives from embassies or other governmental institutions and are conducted in an informal setting.
GO Movie & Lecture Series
The GO Movie & Lecture series features interactive lectures conducted by international faculty members who discuss their homelands using films (movies, documentaries, TV shows, etc.) and other visual materials.
GO Seminar Series
GO Seminars are informal seminars where participants can learn about and discuss current topics in Japan.
GO Field Trips
Throughout the year, the Globalization Office (GO) organizes field trips which give both international and Japanese students a chance to learn more about Japanese culture and society.
GO Workshops
GO workshops are special workshops held periodically on a variety of topics.
