Is vaccination necessary for my overseas travels?

The required vaccines differ depending on the destination country. Please follow the instructions of your instructor and get the necessary vaccines in advance.

I have never been vaccinated against COVID. Can I still participate in the course?

Please check the information and website of the countries (Japan and destination country) concerned to see if any vaccination is a condition for returning back.

If I have to cancel the trip due to the coronavirus or influenza or any other reasons, will the university pay the cancellation fee?

As it is your own responsibility, so you will be responsible for the cancellation fee. We recommend you to add special options to your overseas travel insurance, such as coverage of cancellation fees.

If I became ill and have to pay for additional nights at the hotel or charge fees for flight ticket, will the University cover the costs?

As it is your responsibility, so you will be responsible for the cancellation or change of travel fee. We recommend you to add special options to your overseas traevel insurance such as coverage of cancellation expenses. However, in some cases, it may be paid by the university, so please consult your instructor.
